CYGNOTIC the electronic synthtrance-project of Munich/Germany-based Musician/Producer Markus Lindwurm sets the stage and new signs on the electronic horizon with the new album release ‚CYGNS‘.
With its third full-length album CYGNOTIC still stands for timeless atmospheric synthesizer compositions and gripping melodies in between traditional electronic arrangements and progressed electronic listening – timeless epic electronica.
After the previous release “Reflections From The Future” (2008) with the well acclaimed output ‘Space Harmonics’ and the darker album ‘Through The Gates Of Nocturnal Sleep’ (2010) ‚CYGNS‘ shows itself 2019 empowered, sophisticated and compact for the Cygnotic signature sound. Dynamic vividly arranged compositions float inbetween melodic and captivating arrangements of legendary sounds and at the same time contemporary beats and sequencerlines.
CYGNOTIC captures and extends the timeless epic moods of the golden analog synth-era in an evocative and modern mixed up style to an uplifted new creation where Origin Synthesizer Music meets with Berlin School, Trance, Future Pop as well as Electronic Wave and New Retro Wave. Deep complex layered electronica – that define the ‘cygnotic’ identity and character; instrumental, monumental, sequential, melodic, enchanting, hymn-like, epic sound fields.
The Cygnotic Sound wants to fill a niche in electronic music which is appealing to aficionados of musical compositions and synth enthusiasts as well. ‚CYGNS‘ is carrying a constant light of euphoria within an enchanting melancholy.
The new album is accompanied with video releases for ‚Iridium Dawn‘, ‚Electronic Devotion‘ and ‚Replicant Logic‘.

By growing up within the Zeitgeist of the 70ies/80ies legendary pioneers of electronic and progressive music it’s no wonder that enthusiasts of synthetic aroused sounds will certainly detect musical influences of electronic old-school masters like Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream but as well from contemporary electronics like e.g. VNV Nation in his music. All captured in a synthesized self-contained melange called CYGNOTIC without ever losing its own identity. Starting music in the early days of C64 8Bit-Music the experience and equipment developed to its state for the abilities for contemporary produced electronic music within a harmonic mix of analog and digital – still publishing under its own brand of Cygnotic Music.
